Partners in Health fights for the right to quality health care and delivers it in 10 of the world’s poorest places, partnering with local governments and academic institutions to bring about global change. With 1.5 million outpatient visits and over 800,000 home visits from community health workers each year, PIH and its sister organizations bring modern medical science, dignity and justice to the poor in Mexico, Haiti, Peru, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Malawi, Lesotho, Kazakhstan, and the Navajo Nation in the U.S. The organization partners with Build Health International to build, renovate, maintain and equip its health facilities throughout the world.
