Working in ten countries, Groundswell International’s agronomists teach ecological farming methods, help develop cooperatives and linkages to markets, strengthen local organizations and grassroots movements, and mobilize farmers to advocate locally, nationally, and internationally for climate justice. In Haiti, Groundswell works with PDL, a vast peasant organization called Partnership for Local Development. Karen Ansara joined the board in 2020.
