Root Capital - Women In Agriculture Initiative

Root Capital invests in agricultural enterprises to transform rural communities. These businesses drive impact by creating jobs, raising incomes for smallholder farmers, promoting inclusion for women and youth, and advancing climate action. We operate in hard-to-serve geographies, providing financing where others won't—to enterprises that are too big for microfinance, but too small or risky for commercial banks. To fuel long-term growth, we pair our financing with tailored business training that enhances bankability, inclusiveness, and climate resilience.
