Root
Root’s mission is to help young adults create a pathway to independence through food service training and employment. Through an innovative culinary program, Root develops essential life and work readiness skills, so that youth leave Root prepared for success in the workplace. In response to COVID-19, Root is providing meals for vulnerable persons in Salem’s senior centers, public schools, shelters and family programs.
