Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti

The Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti (IJDH) is a partnership of Haitian and U.S. lawyers and human rights advocates supporting the Haitian people in their struggle for a just system of law, a democratic and transparent government, and a society without violence and oppression. The organization leads advocacy efforts for gender-based violence across Haiti, gathers information on human rights violations, and helps victims of such abuse pursue cases in national and international courts.
