Pathways to Change Series:  Invest in a Girl, Invest in the Future
February 14, 2012, 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
World Education Headquarters, 44 Farnsworth Street, Boston, MA

An increasing number of foundations and social investors are investing in adolescent girls and their ripple effect.  What individual and community level strategies and investments are working?  Which show most promise for being replicable and scalable?  Are there specific areas where philanthropy can be a catalyst for significant change?  This event will highlight promising approaches of World EducationNEID members, and other global donors committed to improving the lives of adolescent girls.

NEID is designed for individual donors, grantmakers, social investors and their advisors committed to directing $10,000 in philanthropy or social investing overseas each year.  For more information about joining NEID and participating in these events see http://neidonors.org/Events_GW7I.html.  NEID is a project of The Philanthropic Initiative and a grantee of the Ansara Family Fund at the Boston Foundation.
