GMGI’s mission, situated in Boston’s oldest working seaport, Gloucester, MA is to “address critical challenges facing our oceans, human health and the environment through innovative scientific research and education.” GMGI offers a vibrant science learning environment at the Gloucester Biotechnology Academy – a vocational program educating high school graduates for high-paying careers as biotech lab technicians. The Academy also offers educational programs to local middle and high school students.
