King Boston / MLK Boston Fund

King Boston, a private non-profit, and the MLK Boston Fund at the Boston Foundation, are working closely with the City of Boston to bring a world-class sculpture and gathering space to the Boston Common to commemorate the legacy of Coretta Scott King and Martin Luther King, Jr. In addition, the Fund is establishing the King Center for Economic Justice to foster dialogue to address structural racism and economic disparity, and to bring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s teachings to life.

"I must remind you that starving a child is violence. Neglecting school children is violence… Ghetto housing is violence… Contempt for poverty is violence."

Martin Luther King, Jr.
