Haiti Response Coalition
The Haiti Response Coalition, under the auspices of Beyond Borders, consists of organizations working in Haiti to address the impact of COVID-19 on health, education, food security, human rights and deportations to Haiti. In response to COVID-19 in Haiti, the Haiti Response Coalition has engaged Haitian celebrities and artists to be featured on billboards, social media and radio to encourage behavior to protect against the virus and avoid stigma. The Coalition is also facilitating collaboration among NGOs which are providing emergency aid and reconstruction after the 2021 earthquake. Furthermore, the Coalition coordinates organizations demanding an end to violence and impunity and deportations of Haitians from the US border back to Haiti.
