Help for Haiti
Working in the city of Cap-Haitien and the rural mountain town of Marmalade in northern Haiti, Help for Haiti provides Haitian youth and adults with entrepreneurship skills training and tailored coaching from qualified educators and business professionals. Our beneficiaries develop skills in business planning, finance, marketing, inventory and sales and receive small business loans with low interest rates. This support provides them with the skills and confidence to participate in Haiti’s economy as social entrepreneurships who are equipped to provide for themselves and their families and to create employment opportunities for others. Children and youth in our programs also benefit from our teacher retention and training initiatives, as well as our school feeding and tuition support programs.
