MADRE / Haitian Women’s Collective
MADRE funds and strengthens the organizational capacity of grassroots, women-led organizations and feminist social movements, especially in contexts of war, disaster or post-disaster. In Haiti, MADRE partners with a network of 12 women-led organizations, the Haitian Women’s Collective, spread throughout the country. HWC provides education and leadership development for women and girls to engage in civil society and meet the needs of their communities.
