Zanmi Agrikol
Zanmi Agrikol (Partners in Agriculture) operates an innovative agricultural school and demonstration farm in the Central Plateau for young people ages 18-24. Students earn their agricultural licenses and use their entrepreneurial training to launch their own businesses. In addition, graduates provide tools, training and seeds to extremely poor women in isolated villages so they can grow food for their families, sell it in the marketplace, and earn money to send their children to school.
