Partners in Health
Partners in Health treats patients and trains local health care workers in some of the most marginalized communities around the world. It partners with academic institutions and governments to strengthen health systems and to influence health policy — because everyone deserves the right to health care. The Ansaras helped fund with PIH a Maternal and Child Health Center in Sierra Leone, a country with one of the highest rates of maternal and child mortality in the world. They have also made a recoverable grant to help construct a center to treat multi-drug resistant Tuberculosis in Lima, Peru.
