Unite de Lutte Pour La Sante

United de Lutte pour la Sante (ULS) translates to “Fighting Unit for Health,” and ULS Health Center has been doing just that since 2010 in Bande du Nord near Cap-Haitien. Many of the more than 25,000 people who live in the community rely on the clinic for the majority of their health. ULS Health Center provides general consultation, medicines, laboratory tests, immunizations, family planning, and other services. It also provides outreach healthcare services to the community via a mobile clinic and support of traditional birth attendants. ULS also provides micro loans to women and farmers in their community.
